Saratoga Springs is a city in Saratoga County, New York, United States, that is also widely known as simply Saratoga. The population was 28,491 at the 2020 census. The name reflects the presence of mineral springs in the area, which has made Saratoga a popular resort destination for over 200 years. The city is just north of Albany in the heart of New York’s Capital Region.

Saratoga Springs was ranked tenth in the list of the top 10 places to live in New York State for 2014 according to the national online real estate brokerage Movoto.

  • The Saratoga Springs City School District has six elementary schools for grades kindergarten to five, one middle school for grades six to eight, and one high school for grades nine to 12. The district serves students from the city of Saratoga Springs and the Saratoga County towns of Milton, Wilton, Malta, Greenfield and Saratoga.

    With the help of over 1,100 faculty, staff and administrators, the school district offers outstanding education programs to prepare students for the skills needed to succeed in the ever-changing world.
